| | TRD offers two different high-performance camshafts for the Toyota 4cyl 20R/22R (Compact Truck/4Runner) engine. These Camshafts are precision-ground from new billet stock to assure long life and are designed to work with OEM Toyota valve springs. All TRD Camshafts should be installed with new cam followers to ensure proper break-in and long, reliable life. The street-tuned Level 1Camshaft (PT901 -34000-00) is smog legal in all 50 states. It produces an approximate 10% horsepower increase across the RPM range, making it a perfect choice for otherwise stock or mildly modified street machines. The mid-range, Level 2 Camshaft is for racing or off-highway use only. The performance will be dependent on the specifications of the race engine in which they are installed. |
